AMD Ryzen 4000 Series Desktop Processors are about to release.

Good news for gamers.

At last, AMD announced their 4000 series. At this time they are working not only on Ryzen series but also Athlon series.

There is a strong possibility that AMD will reveal the 4000 series on 8th October 2020. But we still don't know about the final release date and prices. There is one thing we are sure that, we will get the AMD Ryzen 4000 series in hand, this year. This series is the world's first and most advanced 7nm x86 desktop processor with built-in graphics. Yet we only know about the G and GE versions APU and CPU. And this time we will get built-in graphics on Ryzen 7.

According to AMD, this series is way more powerful than any other CPU including Intel. As they are saying

With responsive performance and flawless visuals with Radeon graphics built-in, consumers can now enjoy enthusiast-level performance for gaming and content creation in AMD Ryzen 4000 G-Series processor powered pre-built desktops without the need for a discrete graphics card. Additionally, the new AMD Athlon™ 3000 G-Series Desktop Processors provide responsive performance and modern features for entry-level PCs using the same “Zen” core architecture and built-in Radeon graphics as the high-performance AMD Ryzen Desktop Processor family.

The AMD Ryzen™ 4700G Desktop Processor offers:

  • Up to 2.5X multi-threaded performance compared to previous generation
  • Up to 5% greater single-thread performance than the Intel Core i7-9700
  • Up to 31% greater multithreaded performance than the Intel Core i7-9700
  • Up to 202% better graphics performance than the Intel Core i7-9700
These were all positive facts. But we can notice some negative sides. Still, Max boost frequencies are lower than Intel 10th gen CPU's  Turbo boost frequencies. That will not be a big matter but I think that Intel is still good at single-core processes. But AMD will do better with multi-threaded processes.

So, let's hope, we get AMD 4000 series processors in our hand soon and of course at a reasonable price.
